Evan Williams

Evan Williams is founder and CEO at Medium. Previously, he co-founded Blogger, which was acquired by Google in 2003, and Twitter, where he was CEO and now serves on the board of directors.

In 2014, Ev co-founded Obvious Ventures to focus on a world-positive approach to investing. Its mission is to help startups build scalable solutions to big world challenges, in order to have sustainable, positive impact.

Ev grew up on a farm in Clarks, Nebraska and has been recognized as one of TIME’S 100 most influential people in the world. He lives in San Francisco with his wife and two sons.
