Shelley Delayne

Shelley Delayne, the founder of Orange Coworking, has worked to create a welcoming environment that empowers a businesses owners, freelancers, telecommuters and remote employees to be more creative and productive in their businesses. Through Shelley's human-first leadership, a box filled with desks and chairs has quickly become more than just a space to sit and work. Orange Coworking is a thoughtfully-designed environment in which work, useful classes and workshops, and curated connections flourish, as defined by the members who participate in the community, Prior to creating Orange Coworking, Shelley spent her time as a freelance graphic designer and small business consultant. She worked in a wide variety of locations, anywhere there were power outlets and WiFi. Her experience showed her what workplaces for the office-less should not be. The combination of this experience and Shelley’s ability to foster meaningful connections meant opening Orange Coworking was just the beginning of a journey of exploring what a successful coworking environment means to the humans who inhabit different types of spaces in which to work.
