Ryan Peterson

Passionate about innovation, investigation and islands Ryan R. Peterson, PhD is General Manager for Economic Policy at the Central Bank of Aruba.

For most of his professional and scientific career he has worked on the governance and resilience of digital ecosystems in financial services, tourism and academia, with a special focus on small island economies. Starting his early consulting career in financial innovation and information technologies - #FINTECH - across Europe, he subsequently moved into academia, with a PhD in Governance and Economics, exploring new models for digital enterprising and economic development across several continents.

With multiple business and scientific publications, and having held the positions of professor, director and dean in the fields of innovation, strategy and economics, his passion for sustainability, sustainable innovation and transformative resilience has been a driving force in his labor of love for over a decade across the small island states of the Caribbean.
