With a desire to make games that captivate and inspire audiences worldwide, Morgan has focused on growing his passion for design across multiple genres and platforms. As thatgamecompany’s Senior Level Designer, Morgan plays a key role in world building, game and technical design for the studio’s upcoming Sky: Light Awaits social adventure game. His work has helped shape the overall multiplayer experience, emotional dynamic and narrative driven world of Sky.
Morgan graduated with a Masters degree at SMU Guildhall, and a B.A. Honors degree in Philosophy at New York University. Upon finishing his studies, he began a long-term stint at id Software where he honed his craft as a level designer. His last release at the studio, DOOM, was met with critical acclaim including numerous nominations and awards from DICE, GDC, BAFTA, Game Critics, Golden Joystick, as well as a “Game of The Year” accolade from Polygon. He also level designed on RAGE and RAGE: The Scorchers, and contributed to Wolfenstein: The New Order.
Aside from developing games, Morgan loves to spend time being a dad.
