Brian Monahan
Brian (@brionic) leads customer strategy for Pinterest, creating category-specific solutions for Pinterest's largest partners. He helped start one of the first digital ad agencies in San Francisco and later held various executive roles at IPG including running digital for the global Microsoft account, launching IPG's programmatic trading desk, managing the IPG Media Lab, and at MAGNA GLOBAL. Brian went client-side to lead marketing at Walmart.com where he grew monthly uniques from 55 million to 85 million. Brian is a co-Founder of NewCo, a media and events company for innovative businesses on a mission. Brian has been recognized by American Advertising Federation's Hall of Achievement and Ad Age Media Maven, amongst others. Outside of work, he coaches youth basketball, helps with "quality control" at his wife's restaurant. Brian is currently saving ideas about biking gear.
