Cheryl Miller Houser

Cheryl Miller Houser is an award-winning documentary filmmaker who has developed a proprietary 3-step method that harnesses the craft and science of storytelling to tap into the human heart. Through her empathy agency Creative Breed, Cheryl works with brands and organizations to drive connection, engagement and positive action through storytelling. She writes, directs and produces documentaries, commercials, web series, branded content, speeches, editorial and all forms of storytelling featuring real people.

Cheryl also gives inspirational talks and workshops globally and works with individuals and teams as a storytelling coach.

Cheryl’s work through Creative Breed includes writing, directing and producing feature documentary GENERATION STARTUP funded by PwC and UBS (festivals, Netflix, event screenings around the world), MAD GENIUS TIPS, a hit web series for Food & Wine Magazine nominated for 2 James Beard Awards which spawned a book and other media extensions and brand launch videos and commercials.

Prior to Creative Breed, Cheryl produced feature films, documentaries and TV series, including David O. Russell's award-winning first film SPANKING THE MONKEY, Academy Award nominated documentary CHILDREN OF DARKNESS and created, wrote and produced hundreds of hours of top-rated TV for Discovery, Nat Geo, History Channel, The Food Network and other broadcasters.
