Tom Gimbel

Tom Gimbel is the General Manager of Austin City Limits - the award winning KLRU / PBS television show. Austin City Limits is the longest running music show in American television history, a recognized Rock and Roll Hall of Fame landmark, the only television show ever awarded the National Medal of the Arts and, in 2012, a recipient of an institutional Peabody Award.

In his position, Tom is responsible for the development and management of the strategic and tactical plans for Austin City Limits, including distribution (broadcast, recordings, online, mobile), merchandising, licensing, and other enterprise activities. He also manages ACL partner relations, including co-producers, merchandise, record labels, corporate clients, digital partners, music industry and licensees.
