Khara Ramos PhD
Dr. Khara Ramos is a Senior Science Policy Analyst at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke. As a Stanford undergraduate, a course on consciousness got her hooked on understanding the brain and mind – through a neurosciences PhD at the University of California, San Diego; a AAAS (American Association for the Advancement of Science) Science & Technology Policy Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health (NIH); to her present role as chief architect of the neuroethics program within NIH’s Brain Research through Advancing Innovative Neurotechnologies (BRAIN) Initiative, a research initiative that aims to revolutionize our understanding of the human brain.
