Leah Urbano
For Leah Urbano, music has always been in her blood. In 1991 she started a zine while going to shows and this is where her 25 plus year career in music began. With moving to San Francisco in 1994, Leah spent her time volunteering at EpiCenter Zone Collective, Blacklist Mailorder and Maximum Rock & Roll, all while putting on shows in her two floor warehouse space and operating her own fanzine mailorder business. In 1998 her work brought her to Erie, PA where she continued to be involved with music while travelling the world for work as a business development specialist. In 2000, Leah moved back to Massachusetts to be closer to family and reconnected with her friend, Scott Lee. Together they opened Red Rocket Records and started Crimson Management. During this time, Leah signed on to work on New England Metal and Hardcore Festival with Scott for the next 16 years. In 2004, Leah produced and co-managed Rock and Shock, a yearly horror & music con that is now in its 14th year.
