Chris Roessner
Chris Roessner is a U.S. Army Vet who served as a Civil Affairs soldier in Iraq during the initial invasion in '03-'04. He holds a B.A. in Poetry from USC and an M.F.A. in Film from USC's Peter Stark Producing Program. Currently, he resides in Los Angeles and is a professional filmmaker whose debut film SAND CASTLE, stars Nicholas Hoult and Henry Cavill and was released on Netflix in April. He also has an adaptation of the book KING LEOPOLD'S GHOST with Pearl Street Films, an action film ON THE JOB at Universal with Baltasar Kormakur directing, and a TV adaptation of the Don Winslow book CALIFORNIA FIRE & LIFE. His wife Sneha Koorse is a TV writer whose credits include THE AMERICANS, DAREDEVIL, and the upcoming UMBRELLA ACADEMY. He is a Pat Tillman military scholar.
