Laurent Crenshaw

Laurent Crenshaw is the Senior Director of Policy and External Affairs at Patreon, where he leads both the Policy and Payments Operation teams.

Prior to joining Patreon, Laurent served in senior policy roles at Eaze and Yelp. Before shifting to the private sector, Laurent worked in the House of Representatives for over 11 years focusing on technology policy issues, particularly in the areas of intellectual property, telecommunications, and internet law.

Laurent also serves on the board of directors for Public Knowledge and is a member of the American Library Association's Public Policy Advisory Council. He received his undergraduate degree at Stanford University, and his juris doctor from American University.
