Kilian Moote

Kilian is an expert in supply chain transparency and legal disclosure. He is the Project Director for KnowTheChain, a Humanity United project dedicated to helping businesses and investors understand and address labor abuses within their supply chains. In this role, he oversees all aspects of KnowTheChain’s strategy, publications, and business engagement. In the past, Kilian has facilitated innovation workshops that have helped both private and public sector groups accelerate solutions to challenging supply chain management problems. He has consulted with Fortune 500 companies and used that experience to create guidance documents and engagement best practices for national governments, including the U.S. Department of Labor and the European Commission. Prior to joining HU, Kilian conceptualized and led Free2Work, a risk assessment and evaluation tool designed to inform brands how they can reduce human trafficking risks in their supply chains.
