Bodie Johnson

Bodie Johnson is the founder of BackForty Management, an artist management firm in Denver, Colorado. Johnson graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2003 with a Journalism degree in Broadcast Production Management and began his career in the music industry as a radio producer and on-air talent in Summit County, CO before moving back to Boulder to join SBR Custom Channels, an Internet streaming, licensing, music branding and Triple A Radio consulting firm. Johnson then moved to Denver and spent time at Red Light Management and 7S Management and worked with artists such as Shakey Graves, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, John Butler Trio, Mary Chapin Carpenter and others. In 2015, Johnson founded BackForty Management where he works alongside Shakey Graves, Langhorne Slim, Liza Anne, Bee Caves, and serves as music supervisor for several films and documentaries in the outdoor and lifestyle business with clients including Patagonia, Trek, Yeti, Lululemon Athletica, Matchstick Productions, DPS Skis, among others. When not on the road at concerts, Johnson spends time in the hills backcountry skiing, fly fishing and biking with his wife and pup.
