Renee Harrison is the owner of Publicity Please, a boutique full-service public relations agency in Los Angeles. With over 15 years experience in the entertainment industry, Renee focuses on music public relations -concentrating on domestic PR and integrated marketing through print, broadcast and online outlets. She gives personal attention and provides exceptional results via creative and effective media strategies.
Prior to founding Publicity Please, Renee worked at MCA Records, DreamWorks Records and Warner Bros. Records in A&R scouting new music talent through live performances and demo submissions before shifting to Publicity at Warner Bros. Records and at Interscope Records. While at Warner Bros., Renee worked with talent such as Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Disturbed, Rachael Yamagata, and Avenged Sevenfold. At Interscope, she spearheaded the Publicity Department's foray into embracing and harnessing the power of the digital age of media.
With Publicity Please, Renee has handled all aspects of press for album launches, North American tours and beyond for artists such as The Darkness, Buckcherry, Puddle of Mudd, Papa Roach, Escape The Fate, Insane Clown Posse, Saint Motel, honeyhoney, and more.
