Bruce Katz is the Centennial Scholar at the Brookings Institution, where he focuses on the challenges and opportunities of global urbanization, and is the co-author of The New Localism - How cities can thrive in an age of populism. He was vice president and codirector of the Brookings Metropolitan Policy Program, which he founded in 1996. He coauthored The Metropolitan Revolution (Brookings, 2013).
