Charlie Tabesh
Charles Tabesh is senior vice president of programming and production for Turner Classic Movies (TCM) and Filmstruck. In this capacity, he is responsible for managing programming, scheduling and acquisition selection strategies for both brands. Tabesh also leads the programming for the network’s annual TCM Classic Film Festival in Hollywood. Tabesh is based in Los Angeles and reports to Jennifer Dorian, executive vice president of Turner Portfolio's 360 Brand Strategy and general manager of TCM & FilmStruck. Tabesh’s strategic direction, his team has conceived many acclaimed programming initiatives for TCM, including such events as the annual Summer Under the Stars, Race & Hollywood and the Peabody Award winning series The Story of Film. Tabesh also arranges films to be shown at the annual TCM Classic Film Festival, held each spring in Hollywood. Tabesh leads the curation of FilmStruck’s massive film library, creating over 70 fully curated and constantly refreshed programming themes
