Liz Milch

"Elizabeth Milch is the Director of Content at Genius, managing strategy across the
company’s editorial, video, social, knowledge, and community channels—with a deep
focus on finding, gathering, and transforming the best of the user-generated content
found on Genius.com into premium content distributed throughout the internet.
Milch was previously Genius’s first Senior Community Manager and focused on
improving the quality of work and interactions among the active contributors on the site.
This involved deep immersion in Genius’s online community and careful work helping
contributors—the majority of them quite young—grow as writers and editors.
Before Genius, Milch was the Associate Director of Curriculum at Ascend Charter
Schools, where she developed an interdisciplinary Humanities and Social Studies
curriculum for middle schoolers. In both of these efforts, she focused on how community
building, in a classroom or online, can engage young people and support their
development as readers and writers."
