Martin is the MD of SNTV. He joined the world’s leading sports news video agency in 2010. SNTV is a partnership of the Associated Press and WME|IMG.
SNTV serves over 450 broadcasters and thousands of digital publishers globally, providing over 45 sports news and highlights videos per day. SNTV was the first HD sports agency, and has invested strongly in newsgathering and digital production, doubling its output since 2010. SNTV sent more than a dozen crews to both the Euro 2016 and the Rio Olympics. 85% of SNTV’s content is digitally cleared, and SNTV produces 20+ 'ready to publish' digital clips daily, available with English and Mandarin voice-over.
Prior to SNTV, Martin was VP Business Development and Distribution at CNBC. He grew distribution by 60%, led digital products internationally, and launched CNBC Africa, TVN CNBC and Bahrain. That followed an international BD role at CNN.
Martin was London COO at Groupe Arnault’s digital VC managing media and sports investments, following three years at Sky managing channels and Sky Sport investments. Prior to Sky, Martin ran broadcast services at AP, and was part of the team that launched the SNTV business he now leads.
Martin started his career in chartered accounting at Deloitte in Melbourne, Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne.
