Jim Marsh is the Vice President of Digital & Social Media at HBO, where he leads social media and digital marketing for the HBO brand and all programming. His work focuses on extending marketing campaigns into the digital realm to drive consumer awareness, engagement, and subscriptions. Marsh has been instrumental in driving word of mouth and establishing the digital presence for several juggernauts including Game of Thrones and Westworld, on which he has collaborated closely with the show’s creative teams.
Jim has over thirteen years of experience in the entertainment industry, beginning in TV and web ad sales at CNN International. He later worked as an Account Executive at digital agency Deep Focus, where he managed award winning campaigns for entertainment brands including Comedy Central, Court TV and Picturehouse. Jim’s campaigns have been widely recognized for their creativity and innovation, garnering three Emmy nominations two Cannes Lions and a multitude of Webby Awards.
