Ken Romano is Director of Text & Multimedia Products for The Associated Press. In this role, Ken partners with the newsroom, technology and sales to create multimedia formats for emerging platforms like voice interfaces, social media and artificial intelligence. In addition, Ken oversees text products for newspapers, broadcasters and digital publishers.
Prior to AP, Ken was a Product Manager at The Nielsen Company where he and a team of analysts built out dashboard solutions for brands to monitor social media engagement. He was responsible for localizing the product and rolling it out to over a dozen countries in just one year. Ken is a computer science graduate from Villanova University and is actively involved in youth mentoring programs including the YMCA Teen Leaders Club and South Bronx United.
