Juan Latorre, MD
Juan M. Latorre, MD, received his medical degree from Pontifica Universidad Javeriana School of Medicine in Bogotá, Colombia. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Chicago and residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Baylor College of Medicine, where he also completed Fellowship training in Spinal Cord Injury. Dr. Latorre pursued further Fellowship training in Spinal Cord Injury at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He has held two faculty positions: Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston and Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at BCM in Houston.
Dr. Latorre served as the Director of the Spinal Cord Injury Program at Memorial Hermann/The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research in Houston, and is currently the Medical Director for Spinal Cord Injury and Amputee Programs at St. David's Rehabilitation Hospital.
