Kandia Johnson
As the founder of Kandid Conversations LLC, Kandia Johnson helps 9-5'ers and entrepreneurs become recognized leaders in the workplace and influential voices within their industry. She brings more than 15 years of experience in marketing communications, personal brand development and global awareness campaigns.
Through consulting, workshops, and mentoring she’s helped her clients increase brand awareness and position themselves for speaking engagements, global conferences, TV shows, and media coverage.
Kandia used her corporate experience working for global organizations and companies such as Deloitte Consulting, the U.S. Navy, and Johnson & Johnson, to launch Kandid Conversations, a consulting and training company targeting minorities and women entrepreneurs in underrepresented professions.
Her commitment to the advancement of women in leadership has led her to serve as a mentor, speaker and champion for startups and non-profit organizations in the United States and Africa.
She also has published articles on topics including career and small business development and women in leadership. She graduated from Delaware State University with a BA in Public Relations and earned an MS in Secondary Education from Old Dominion University.
