Hannah Soyer
Hannah Soyer is a disabled writer, artist, and activist. She is currently working on her MFA in creative writing, and is primarily interested in perceptions and representations of what we consider 'other.'
She is the creator of the This Body is Worthy project, with the intention of celebrating, through photography and the written word, bodies typically outside of societal ideals. She is also the founder of Freedom Words, a program to design and implement creative writing workshops specifically for students with disabilities.
Her work has been published in Cosmopolitan, InkLit magazine, Mikrokosmos Journal, the Disability Visibility Project, and Rooted in Rights. She has forthcoming work in Hot Metal Bridge.
