Chenits Pettigrew
Chenits Pettigrew is an accomplished musician, arts educator, entrepreneur and creative director. Through innovative curriculum development, live performance, multimedia creation and master classes his life’s work aims to engage collective agency to evoke sustainable change. This visionary mind has toured the globe, performing and leading master classes with a number of cultural arts institutions, including Jazz at Lincoln Center on the Rhythym Road, the August Wilson Center, 651 ARTS and others. Chen Lo has also shared the stage with the likes of Common, Erykah Badu, KRS-ONE, A Tribe Called Quest, Xzibit and has worked with the legendary Last Poets. To date, he has recorded notable collaborations with K'Naan, Murs Jean Grae and Ryan Leslie. He is the creative director of Soundtrack ‘63. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies from Pennsylvania State University and an an interdisciplinary Master’s in Music Business, Music Tech and Art as Activism from New York University.
