Cory Hohs

For the past 12 years, Cory has worked at multiple companies both big and small scaling hardware and software products globally. The majority of his career was spent in the telematics and automotive space with NAVTEQ, Nokia and HERE maps. 2 years ago he left HERE to start his own company, HAAS Alert, a Mobile Vehicle-to-Vehicle product focused on growing their sensor solutions for connected vehicles, autonomous vehicle deployments, smart cities, and smart traffic grids. The first use case addressed is with first responders, sending cellular connected first responder vehicle data to their Safety Cloud, and then alerting drivers in their connected vehicles, navigation apps, and traffic products. The company is headquartered here in Chicago with cities and projects engaged in Chicago, Palo Alto, Detroit, Grand Rapids, Portland, and other areas.
