Shanise Gholston

Shanise Gholston is an Attorney Advisor in the Office of Contracting and Personal Property Management of the Smithsonian Institution. Her practice includes intellectual property, transactional law, international law, and federal contracting. Shanise has worked extensively on transactional legal matters for the Smithsonian Institution’s Office of International Relations structuring contracts and other legal documents for art and historic preservation projects all over the world. In addition, she has worked on all legal matters for the Smithsonian Institution Asian Pacific American Center’s Culture Lab pop up art shows which feature artistic works, performances, demonstrations which incorporate technology such as web design, social media, and virtual reality.
