Science Practice

Ana is Head of Good Problems at Science Practice. The Good Problems Team supports funding organisations, investors and philanthropies identify and prioritise real problems in need of solutions and design suitable ways to incentivise innovation. Ana has led a number of projects designing challenge prizes and innovation funding calls around specific problems in healthcare, energy, food and water sustainability, transportation, and humanitarian aid. She has previously worked at innovation foundation Nesta, researching emerging technologies and trends in social venture incubation. She also ran a six-week pre-accelerator programme for early-stage startups in London and helped organise a number of Startup Weekend hackathons.

Science Practice is a design and research studio in London that builds teams to work on ambitious science-focused projects and ventures. We currently host two teams – the Good Problems Team and the BioDesign Team, and an early-stage venture – SoilCards.
