Jens Kolind

As VP of Technical Industries, Jens leads Novozymes activities globally within industrial applications covering Water, Biogas, Pulp&Paper, Textile and Leather processing.

Novozymes is a world leader in biotechnology providing enzymatic and microbial solutions to a wide range of industries including Bioenergy, Food&Beverage, Household Care, Agriculture and Industrial Applications. Jens joined Novozymes in 2015 in a commercial role.

Jens oversees Novozymes’ Commercial and R&D activities within Water treatment globally. Jens has been part of launching Novozymes’ open innovation activities “HelloScience” within water in collaboration with Grundfos and UNICEF.

Prior to Novozymes, Jens was working 7 years for the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) serving clients in the industrial goods sector on operational and strategic topics. During the time at BCG Jens worked in Copenhagen, Denmark and Mumbai, India serving clients across Europe and Asia-Pacific.

Jens holds and M.Sc. in Biotechnology Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark
