Barry McGeough
Having started his career in sales as the first importer of Dr Martens in the US, McGeough moved to the UK to work for Shelly’s Shoes, sourcing and manufacturing footwear from former eastern bloc military boot factories for the fashion industry.
Upon returning to the US, he joined Deckers Outdoor corporation building technical outdoor footwear for the Teva, Simple and UGG brands, and was soon asked to join The North Face as VP of Hardgoods to run their Footwear, Technical Equipment and Advanced Concepts teams.
Four years ago, as the new VP of Hardgoods Speedo, McGeough began working with outdoor athletes to help train Olympians by advancing ideation in the hydrodynamic space using physics, engineered innovation and biomimicry to create cutting edge technical swimming gear.
Now the Group Vice President at the newly formed Innovation Next division of PVH, his team serves the innovation needs of all brands at PVH, one of the worlds largest importers of apparel
