Alexis Lloyd
Alexis Lloyd is the Chief Design Officer for Axios. Prior to joining the Axios team, Alexis was the Creative Director of The New York Times R&D Lab, the first in-house media innovation lab in the U.S., where she led numerous groundbreaking projects exploring the future of news and information. During her tenure, the lab was widely regarded as a leader in the field, and her work won numerous accolades and awards, including the Knight-Batten Grand Prize for Innovation in Journalism and a Corporate Entrepreneurs Award for Best Innovation Program. Alexis has extensive experience designing compelling media experiences for organizations including Fox, Columbia University, and others. She is also an accomplished writer and public speaker who convenes conversations amongst diverse audiences about the future of design, technology and user experience. Alexis holds an MFA in Design & Technology from Parsons School of Design and a BA from Vassar College.
