Catherine Cook Connelly
Catherine is VP of Brand Strategy at The Meet Group (NASDAQ: MEET) and co-founded MeetMe (originally myYearbook) with her brothers when she was fifteen.
MeetMe merged with a public company in 2011 and is now The Meet Group. The Meet Group is a fast-growing portfolio of mobile apps with over 4.5 million mobile daily active users. Our apps – currently MeetMe®, Lovoo®, Skout®, and Tagged® – let users in more than 100 countries chat, share photos, stream live video, and discuss topics of interest.
The Meet Group originates untold numbers of conversations, friendships, dates, and marriages, and has offices in New Hope, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Dresden, and Berlin. As part of The Meet Group’s management team, Catherine continues to drive new features that deliver on our mission -- to meet the universal need for human connection.
Catherine graduated from Georgetown University in 2011 and has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Inc. Magazine, Forbes, Fortune, Fast Company, Entrepreneur, TheStreet, Varney & Co., CNBC, and others.
