Tom Pageler serves as Chief Security Officer (CSO) and Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Neustar, Inc. Prior to this role, he served as Chief Risk Officer and Chief Information Security Officer at DocuSign. Tom has over 18 years of experience in security and risk management. Tom joined Neustar as CSO and CRO in April 2016. Prior to DocuSign, Tom served as the Deputy CISO for JPMorgan Chase where he led cyber-security, fraud prevention, and protective intelligence. Prior to his role at JPMorgan Chase, Tom was the Head of Risk Assessments and Director of Emerging Risk and Fraud Control for Visa. While at Visa he helped to launch the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) and remained on The PCI SSC Board of Advisors during his time at JPMorgan Chase.

Previously, Tom served a Special Agent with the U.S. Secret Service where he established the San Francisco Electronic Crimes Task Force and was responsible for identifying, apprehending, and successfully extraditing leaders of a large organized crime ring in the Eastern Bloc. Tom also provided physical security for the President of the United States, the Vice President, their families, and foreign heads of state.

Tom holds a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration from the University of Arizona Eller School of Business, a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Thunderbird School of Global Management, and a Masters in Public Administration (MPA) from Harvard University Kennedy School of Government. Tom is also an instructor and serves as a Member of the Advisory Board for Carnegie Mellon's CISO and CRO Executive Education and Certification Programs.
