Kristin Harris is a seasoned film executive who has spent more than a decade in the independent distribution space. Ms Harris currently serves as VP, Acquisitions and Distribution at Good Deed Entertainment. Prior to her time at Good Deed, she served as a key acquisitions, development, and production executive at studios such as Starz Media, Overture Films, and Cinedigm Entertainment Group. Experienced in both narrative and documentary content, Ms Harris has been involved in the acquisition and release of hundreds of titles, including THE VISITOR, SUNSHINE CLEANING, THE INVISIBLE WAR, SHORT TERM 12, NARCO CULTURA, NIGHT MOVES, AFTERNOON DELIGHT, MEADOWLAND and LOVING VINCENT. Ms Harris’s particular areas of expertise include feature development and packaging, distribution and marketplace strategy (including up-and-coming digital platforms), deal negotiations, data analysis, and independent financing. In addition to her current post at Good Deed Entertainment, Ms Harris also teaches Distribution and Marketing of Independent Film for UCLA Extension. Ms Harris is an alumna of UCLA where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature.
