Andrea Dinneen
Andrea Dinneen is a Senior Behavioral Researcher at the Center for Advanced Hindsight at Duke. Andrea’s work falls under Common Cents Lab (CCL) - a subcenter committed to improving the financial wellbeing of 2 million low to moderate income Americans by 2019. Andrea works with FinTech companies and credit unions to translate key behavioral science insights into interventions that help consumers save more, spend better, reduce debt, and manage cash flow. Prior to joining Common Cents Lab, Andrea was a Senior UX Designer at Deloitte Digital. She worked various technology projects for clients like the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, State of Pennsylvania, and Medicaid. Andrea has a MA from UCLA in Sociology where she focused on state and city policy. Projects included a 5 year evaluation of California's Paid Family Leave policy, a book chapter on LA and NYC’s reactions to the financial crisis and “Budget Games,” a game based approach to engaging citizens in local budgeting.
