David Grice
David has forged a more than 28 year full time career in the music and entertainment industry as a musician, studio engineer, owner of a successful studio and duplication facility, University lecturer, venue manager and creator of The Depot for the Adelaide Fringe Festival. David has many years of business experience in both the commercial and not for profit sectors. As an entrepreneur, David has broad experience in building successful global business from the ground up, while maintaining a strong focus on emerging technologies, their positive and negative influences, and their application to current business practice and supply chains.
He is currently Managing Director of Cognilitics, an IoT device and platform that provides cognitive insights to cities across the world. This system will assist cities to better understand, in real time, environmental insights, such as carbon, pollution, sound, wind velocity and direction, radiation, vibration, humidity and many more.
His previous role was as Managing Director of Musitec, a not for profit organisation that brought the worlds on music and tech together to create new companies in South Australia, run innovation challenges, and incubate ideas.
