Jake Maddux

Growing up in his aunt’s Tulsa, OK restaurant and playing child bartender, mixing cocktails for the adults at family gatherings of all sizes, Jake Maddux learned very early in life that he was well suited for hospitality. Following high school, Maddux enrolled in the Marine Corps. He spent six years in the military, stationed in South America where he soaked up the collective community yet was always in search of his true path. He would later find in his Marine Corps journal, that beyond the brotherhood, most of his entries revolved around drinking beer during his South American travels. It was then that he began dreaming about opening his own brewery one day. He began his post-Marine Corps career working in Napa Valley for Nickel & Nickel Winery as a wine educator and cellarman, and spent time working at Anchor Brewing Company and New Belgium Brewing where he gained unparalleled experience and connections in the craft beer industry.
