Alison Wenham
Alison has spent over 35 years working in the music industry, and is one of the most experienced and well known practitioners in the business. As the newly appointed full time CEO of the Worldwide Independent Network (WIN) Alison provides a collective voice and platform for independent music companies and their national trade associations. WIN’s membership stretches across every continent, with trade associations in all the well-developed legitimate music markets taking a particularly active role – including AIM (UK), A2IM (USA), AIR (Australia), CIMA (Canada), VUT (Germany), IMNZ (New Zealand) , UFI (Spain); IMICHILE (Chile), ABMI (Brazil), and Impala representing the whole of Europe.
She was Founder, Chairman and CEO of AIM from 1998 through to 2016, and guided it through growth in membership, stature and influence. AIM members represent around 23% of the UK market, and independents are the acknowledged creative backbone of the industry, developing new trends ahead of the market
