Nick Winkelman

Nick joined the IRFU in April 2016 as Head of Athletic Performance and Science to develop, manage and assess the physical performance of Irish professional rugby players. Prior to joining the IRFU, Nick was Director of Education & Training Systems at EXOS (Phoenix, Arizona) for 10 years, where he was responsible for the professional development programs at EXOS and international coaches coming through the EXOS live Mentorship programmes and the online EXOS Performance Specialist Certification. In addition, at EXOS Nick ran the NFL Combine development program and has supported a variety of athletes across US professional sports (NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL) and the armed services.
