Patrick Coughlin
Patrick Coughlin is the co-founder and chief operating officer of TruSTAR Technology, a threat intelligence platform built to incentivize data exchange among companies. Prior to that, he co-founded Vango, an art e-commerce company.
Before Patrick came to the Bay Area, he held cyber counterterrorism roles in the U.S. and abroad. As a Director at Good Harbor Consulting in Abu Dhabi, he managed cybersecurity initiatives for government and commercial clients in EMEA, such as standing up the UAE’s first national cybersecurity agency. Patrick also worked at Booz Allen Hamilton on sensitive projects for the Department of Defense and U.S. Special Operations Command. He was voted as one of the Most Influential People in Foreign Policy Under 33 by Diplomatic Courier Magazine.
Patrick has degrees from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown and the School of International Relations at St. Andrews. Patrick also holds an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business.
