Tomá is a global content strategist on the Facebook IQ team, where he studies and writes about people's shifting behaviors and expectations as the world grows more open and connected. He covers topics ranging from the meteoric rise of mobile messaging apps to the surprising financial lives of Millennials.
Prior to joining Facebook, Tomá spent a decade working in advertising, as a media planner, digital strategist, communications architect and brand strategist. Tomá majored in Linguistic Anthropology at Brown University. He studied it out of sheer curiosity and continues to delight in discovering its many real-world applications.
