Julianne Sohn
Julianne is currently the Senior Lead Officer, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning (LGBTQ) Liaison Officer for the Los Angeles Police Department, Community Relationship Division. She is the primary instructor for the LAPD LGBTQ Cultural Competency Course.
Julianne was the lead public information officer for FBI San Francisco, which covered the 15 counties in the Northern District of California and managed and supervised the media relations program. During her time with the FBI she executed and supervised the strategic media plans for numerous joint, multi-agency law enforcement operations to include cyber, gang/RICO, white-collar, counterterrorism, and economic espionage cases.
Julianne was the primary spokeswoman of a non-profit organization, which was at the forefront of advocacy work for servicewomen and women veterans.
Julianne holds an M.A. in Journalism from Columbia and is a former U.S. Marine officer.
