Leslie Langée

Leslie Langee’s work as a filmmaker has resulted in her writing and directing over a half dozen short films, screening in festivals nationally and internationally, and which are now in distribution. She was the First Assistant Director on Byran Poyser’s, "More Than Four Hours," Assistant Director on the multiple award winning film, "The Closet," and First Assistant Director on "The Golden Rut." While working as an actress on the award winning film Jumping Off Bridges (Dir. Kat Candler), Leslie was inspired by the film’s creative team of women, and began working on behalf of the film, as an Associate Producer, focusing on distribution, and publicity. During this time, Leslie continued acting in film, and TV with Kimberly Peirce’s Stop Loss, NBC’s Friday Night Lights, ABC’s My Generation, Kat Candler’s Love Bug, HBO’s The Leftovers and, most recently Anthony Pedone’s "American in Texas." Leslie continues to write and direct.
