Elizabeth Congdon
Elizabeth Congdon is the Lead Engineer for the Thermal Protection System for Parker Solar Probe. Additionally, she helps run the Maker Space at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab. She has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, a MS in Mechanical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and is currently working on her PhD at Johns Hopkins University. She specializes in testing materials at extreme temperatures. She lives in Washington, D.C and enjoys running, rock climbing and traveling.
