Jess Moss

Jess Moss works as a Sr. Visual Designer at Mutual Mobile, and she pushes brands to solve tough problems with innovation. She’s a graduate of Texas State University with a degree in Communication Design. Austin was calling, and she skipped over to a booming city where she would live out her early career days as a graphic designer. Why did she make the jump into tech? During one fateful meeting while explaining to her company the UX/UI approach, she received an unexpected response: “Every time you say UI I think of a Urinary Tract Infection”. Today, UX/UI is at the forefront of design, and Jess Moss is armed with 5 years of mobile app design experience. She designs using Google Material Design (a.k.a her “Google Bible”), iOS’s Human Interface Guidelines, and through learning from her failures as well as her successes. Her ever growing skillset of knowledge is acquired through industry conversation and following the latest trends. Jess’s current agenda? Avoid hamburger menus at all cost.
