Jennifer Perkins
Jennifer Perkins is a freelance creative content designer. Most recently she has worked with DIY Network, BlogHer, eHow, TOMS Shoes, Spangler Candies, Darice Crafts, Tuesday Morning Stores and Treetopia.
In past lives Jennifer was known as The Naughty Secretary Club. This kitschy jewelry line not only became a successful brand it also blossomed into a blog and how-to book. Jennifer is a founding member of the pioneering Austin Craft Mafia which went on to have branches across the globe. Jennifer was a producer for Stitch, one of Austin’s largest craft and fashion shows. In front of the camera, Jennifer has hosted several programs for HGTV and DIY Network including Stylelicious and Craft Lab. From 2012-2014 Jennifer was the Editor in Chief of Kids Crafts 1-2-3 Magazine started by Walmart. For over 2 years Jennifer was also the DIY Editor for the BlogHer Network.
Jennifer has done creative consulting work for large craft companies and small local boutiques. Her work has been featured in ad campaigns for Michaels, JoAnn’s and I Love to Create.
Jennifer’s jewelry designs have been featured in Elle Accessories, Marie Claire, The New York Daily News, Seventeen and more. As a business woman and DIY movement pioneer Jennifer has been profiled in Fortune Small Business, Inc., The Wall Street Journal, Handmade Nation and more.
