Angela Hanson
Angela Hanson leads the public sector innovation methods and tools program at the Observatory of Public Sector Innovation at the OECD in Paris, France. In this role, she convenes and advises national and local governments on their innovation strategies and practices. Previously, Angela served as an innovation strategist in City of Austin's Office of Innovation by configuring people, teams, tools, policies and methods to generate innovative paths through the complex systems inherent in the domain of public administration, including a portfolio of Open Government Partnership Subnational Pilot Program projects. Angela draws on her formal education in ecosystem science from the University of Minnesota and has worked in public service her entire career. She believes in the power of shared reasoning, sense making, and just sheer grit in making government work for everyone.
