Chris James

Chris James is a freelance composer and sound designer for advertising, television, film, web, and interactive media from Austin. He has been a full time commercial composer and sound designer for 12 years. Having worked as a composer/producer for Human in NYC, and SOUTH Music in Santa Monica, he currently has a studio on Austin's eastside where he freelances full time. Chris has composed the final original music and sound design for hundreds of worldwide/nationally airing broadcast campaigns, with brands including Google, Toyota, Nike, Volvo, HP, Wendy's, Ford, HBO, Hyundai, Chase, Cadillac, McDonald's, and Audi among others - including Superbowl spots for Planters and Samsung. His original music has also been featured on a number of network and cable television shows, films, and dozens of interactive and web projects.
