Niniane Wang

Niniane Wang is the senior director of engineering at Niantic responsible for the upcoming Harry Potter augmented reality game, Ingress, the social layer for those games and Pokémon GO, analytics, CRM, sponsorships, and live events. She was founder and CEO of Evertoon until it was acquired by Niantic. Previously she was Chief Technology Officer of Minted and an engineering leader at Google and Microsoft. She co-created Google Desktop Search, led Microsoft Flight Simulator visual effects, and was the first leader of Gmail Ads engineering. She is a board advisor to Serena & Lily. She advises a venture capital fund Basis Set Ventures, as well as Rent the Runway and other startups. She received a BS in Computer Science from Caltech at age 18.
