Brent Bellm

Brent is the CEO and Chairman at BigCommerce, which he joined in June 2015. Prior to joining BigCommerce, Brent served as chief operating officer at HomeAway from 2010-2015, a period in which the company went public and tripled its quarterly revenues.

Prior to HomeAway, Brent spent more than nine years serving in a variety of executive leadership positions at PayPal and eBay, including vice president and CEO of PayPal Europe, where he also tripled quarterly revenues over four years while successfully introducing PayPal’s merchant services and financial products in new geographies. Brent started his career at McKinsey & Company specializing in the retail, ecommerce and payments industries. He holds a BA in International Relations and Economics from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Apart from his professional interests, Brent is also an avid cyclist and runner, and lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife and three children.
