Andrew Chao

I was raised in the US and Taiwan and graduated with a degree in Economics with minors in Math and Fine Arts. However, I started by studying architecture and worked in IT at University of California, San Diego for many years before deciding to switch to UX. To gain the necessary knowledge, I attended a graduate program for interaction design in Italy. After graduation, I worked at Thomson Reuters in New York on both desktop and mobile products. After New York, I moved to Austin to work at National Instruments where I was fortunate enough to work on a couple of fun projects, including an iOS app for LEGO EV3.
